Georgia has significantly reduced its hydrocarbon production this year, according to an analytical study by the National Statistics Office (Sakstat). Oil output has decreased by 8% compared to 2024 figures.
Total crude oil production for 2025 reached 35.8 thousand tons.
Natural gas production amounted to 15.9 million cubic meters this year, reflecting a 3% decline from 2024.
In contrast, coal production increased by 20.1%, reaching 177.8 thousand tons in 2025.
