Georgia is open and safe for tourists from all over the world, including Russia, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said during a meeting with journalists.
"Of course, our doors are open to all tourists, any kind. This is something we must speak about very openly. And we will do everything to ensure that Georgia provides an appropriate environment for all tourists",
Kobakhidze said.
According to Irakli Kobakhidze, economic interests, cultural traditions, and the country's long-standing hospitality should guide the approach to tourism.
Kobakhidze also urged people not to believe false claims about hostility toward Russians, describing them as baseless.
