Georgian President flies to USA for UN General Assembly

Georgian President Mikhail Kavelashvili has departed for the USA to participate in the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.

During his visit to Washington, Kavelashvili will address the UN General Assembly and hold a number of high-level bilateral meetings.

Additionally, he will attend an official reception hosted by US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump in honor of the heads of delegations.

President Kavelashvili is scheduled to remain in the USA until September 26.
