The USA has imposed new sanctions on Yemen’s Houthi movement “Ansar Allah,” the Treasury Department said in a statement.
The sanctions list includes over 10 individuals and more than 25 companies from several countries, including Yemen, China, and the UAE. They are accused of providing financial support to the Houthis, supplying fuel, and offering other assistance.
The blacklist also names four vessels involved in the transportation of oil and petroleum products.
The statement emphasizes that such measures are aimed at undermining the economic channels that support the Houthis.
