The Gaza Strip was divided in two parts after the IDF captured the Netzarim corridor. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz explained the details and significance of this development.

The minister emphasized that the siege of Gaza City will now become even more severe. He also clarified that anyone traveling from Gaza to the southern Strip will be required to undergo check at IDF checkpoints.
