Iran characterizes current relations with Russia

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi affirmed the comprehensive nature of Russian-Iranian cooperation during his December 16 meeting with the State Duma International Affairs Committee.

He noted that the two countries' cooperation encompasses all areas.

"Relations between Russia and Iran are comprehensive and include all areas of cooperation",

Abbas Araghchi said.

The Foreign Minister additionally noted expanding interparliamentary collaboration between both countries.

The Iranian diplomat's visit includes scheduled negotiations with Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov addressing nuclear program developments, bilateral relations, and defense cooperation.
