The Iranian President said that Tehran has no plans to acquire nuclear weapons. The country's Supreme Leader made a similar statement yesterday.
Iran has no plans to acquire nuclear weapons, President Masoud Pezeshkian said on September 24, addressing the UN General Assembly.
"I reiterate from this podium: Iran has not sought and will not seek to develop a nuclear bomb,”
– the Iranian President said.
He also accused the EU3 and the United States of attempting to pressure Iran and restore international sanctions lifted under the 2015 nuclear deal.
