Tasnim news agency reports the IRGC Navy has issued stern warnings to US warships stationed off the country's southern coast to keep distance from zones hosting major naval maneuvers.
The warnings coincide with two-day exercises, named after Mohammad Nazeri, the commander of the IRGC Navy's elite commando units, who passed away in 2016.
Military exercises are being conducted in the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz, and the Sea of Oman, including Nazeat – Abu Musa, Greater Tunb, Lesser Tunb, and Siri.
