Iranian Foreign Minister to visit Russia soon

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi will soon travel to Russia, according to Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei.

The spokesperson also provided an approximate timeframe for the trip.

"The Iranian Foreign Minister will visit Russia and Belarus within the next two to three days",

Esmaeil Baghaei said.

This diplomatic trip follows the meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Friday, December 12, in Ashgabat. During their talks, President Putin emphasized the close coordination between Moscow and Tehran on a wide range of international issues.
