According to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Moscow views Arab countries as prospective collaborators in security matters.

In an interview with RT, Lavrov noted that the North Atlantic Alliance says that they see the task of ensuring the security of the territories of NATO member countries; the alliance is working to introduce its infrastructure to the eastern tip of Eurasia.

Lavrov emphasized that establishing a common Eurasian security architecture remains crucial for developing a comprehensive regional partnership.

"In these processes, our Arab colleagues are promising partners for us. We will also discuss this at the first Russian-Arab summit",

Sergey Lavrov said.

Let us recall that the first ever Russian-Arab summit was scheduled for October 15, however, due to the intensification of the settlement process in Gaza, the Russian President and the head of the Arab League decided to postpone the summit so that all leaders of Arab countries could take part in the meeting in Moscow
