Putin meets Turkey's Fidan in Beijing

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan spoke briefly after a formal reception in Beijing marking the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.

Putin and Fidan descended the stairs together and walked down the red carpet. They talked throughout the entire walk.

Earlier, the Russian president held talks with the leader of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan in China's Tianjin. The Russian leader praised Ankara's Ukrainian conflict mediation attempts. Erdogan emphasized that relations between the two countries are developing successfully.
