Rubio names condition for new sanctions against Russia

According to Washington, the US is ready to consider imposing new anti-Russian sanctions, but for this to happen, Europe must give up Russian oil and gas.

The White House will postpone the introduction of new anti-Russian sanctions until the EU finds the strength to give up Russian hydrocarbons, Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated.

The diplomat explained that President Donald Trump recognizes the likelihood of a scenario in which he will be forced to impose new sanctions against Russia.
