Russia and Kazakhstan may create special communication channel for supervisory authorities

Prosecutors of Russia and Kazakhstan held a scheduled meeting in Turkestan, during which an exchange of experience on property confiscation issues took place. The participants of the meeting also discussed methods of combating corruption in terms of money laundering.

An important part of the meeting was the discussion of a potential special data transmission channel to connect the two departments of Russia and Kazakhstan. The prosecutors also focused on digitalization and digital platforms.

At the end of the meeting, both parties expressed their readiness to continue joint work. The meeting was held within the framework of the Joint Action Plan for the next two years.
