Russia proposes harmonious formats in Asia, Zakharova says

Moscow and its partners in the Asia-Pacific region, in contrast to the bloc thinking and corresponding actions of the West, are promoting formats based on justice, said the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

Russia, together with its partners, is working towards developing harmonious and fair formats in the Asia-Pacific region, in contrast to the West, which continues to promote bloc thinking, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova said on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum.

In an interview with TASS, the diplomat said that in this region, Western countries are attempting to implement bloc thinking, as well as strict schemes that are primarily designed to restrain. However, in reality, on the contrary, the region has historically had a system of relations based on consensus and harmony.
