The Central Bank's press service reported the new record, noting reserves increased by $9.2 billion (1.3%) during the week ending October 3.

The $722.5 billion total represents a new historic high, attributed partially to "positive revaluation" by the regulator.

It's worth noting that as of September 26, the volume of international reserves stood at $713.3 billion.
