Russian Foreign Ministry says Azerbaijan-Armenia peace deal may be signed in Moscow

Russia’s offer to host the signing of a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan remains valid, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said.

"We are ready to provide Yerevan and Baku with all necessary assistance to overcome the remaining differences, including taking into account the trilateral statements of the leaders of Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan," Mikhail Galuzin said.

The Russian deputy FM said that much remains to be done to implement these plans.

Galuzin emphasized that the Russian side attaches special importance to the normalization of relations between the countries.

According to the diplomat, Russia has played a significant and effective role in the settlement process between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
