According to data from Kazakhstan's National Statistics Bureau, Russia shipped 50,700 tons of cosmetics and hygiene products to Kazakhstan in the first 11 months of last year. It is a 19% increase compared to the same period the previous year. In value terms, these exports rose by 15.6% to $222.9 million.
Exports of detergents and cleaning products grew even more sharply in volume, exceeding 119,400 tons, showing a more than 30% year-on-year increase. However, their total value declined by 8%, falling from $138.8 million to $127.6 million.
Kazakhstan also imported more Russian clothing and knitwear in 2025, with volumes up almost 5% to 26,800 tons and value increasing by 8.4% to $372 million.
