Official data from Georgia's National Tourism Administration confirms the 12% year-on-year growth in Russian visitors.

From January through September, Russian tourist arrivals reached approximately 985,400, significantly exceeding last year's 878,200 visits during the same period.

Overall foreign tourist visits to Georgia surpassed 4.3 million in the first three quarters, representing nearly 8% growth compared to 2024.

Russian tourists constituted the largest visitor group, followed by Turkish nationals with over 660,200 visits and Armenian travelers with approximately 419,200 trips.

The tourism development follows Tbilisi's plans to enhance its attractions, including constructing a new TV tower complex on Mount Mtatsminda featuring a 70-meter-high panoramic restaurant and observation deck.
