Russia's foreign trade surplus exceeds 14 billion

Russia's trade excess of exports over imports (surplus) reached $14.2 billion in May, up nearly $6.8 billion year-on-year, according to the Bank of Russia.

The figure also rose by $3.1 billion compared to April.

Exports in May increased by $10.5 billion year-on-year, totaling nearly $43 billion. Imports grew by $3.7 billion to $28.7 billion.
