Tehran announces formation of framework for negotiations with Washington

Iran and the United States continue to form a framework for nuclear negotiations, despite the atmosphere of war in the media, Tehran announced.

The formation of a framework for Iranian-US nuclear negotiations is continuing despite the tense atmosphere, Ali Larijani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic, said.

"Despite the artificially created atmosphere of media warfare, the formation of a framework for negotiations (with the United States - ed.) is progressing,”

– Ali Larijani said.

Ali Larijani was received in the Kremlin by Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to Iranian Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali, the key topic of the talks was the expansion of Russian-Iranian relations, or more specifically, economic ties between Moscow and Tehran.
