Tehran is suspending cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) amid the reinstatement of sanctions by the UN Security Council, IRIB reports, citing the Iranian National Security Council.
"Due to the actions of European countries, cooperation with the IAEA will be suspended",
IRIB said.
Iranian authorities had previously announced their readiness to suspend work with the IAEA if sanctions against the Islamic Republic were reinstated.
Let us remind you that the UN Security Council rejected a resolution that would have blocked the reinstatement of restrictions against Tehran, thereby automatically triggering the return of sanctions against Iran.
