Tel Aviv assesses progress of talks with Hamas

There is progress in negotiations with Hamas in Sharm El-Sheikh, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Office said, adding that there is “optimism, but very cautious.”

“Hamas can add obstacles at any moment and leave,” the official warns.

According to the official, strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer will take off for talks tomorrow, as U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff and US President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner head to Sharm El-Sheikh, The Times of Israel reported.
