According to the Association of Tour Operators (ATOR), three new hotels are set to open on Shura Island in Saudi Arabia.
The resorts will include the InterContinental The Red Sea Resort, SLS The Red Sea, and The Red Sea Edition. The new hotel complexes will open this season. The first phase of The Red Sea Edition is scheduled to open on October 12, followed by the InterContinental and SLS on November 1.
Additional hotels are planned for Shura Island in the future, bringing the total number of premium complexes to 11 to accommodate international tourists.
The island is accessible from the mainland via a bridge and electric vehicle, in addition to sea transport.
