Turkish tourists are increasingly choosing Egyptian resorts, driven by more affordable travel options compared to domestic vacations.

According to the newspaper Ekonomim, Egypt has experienced a 70% year-on-year increase in tourist arrivals from Türkiye.

Last year, Egypt welcomed 250,000 Turkish visitors, reflecting a 70% growth compared to 2023. This year, tourist flow could increase by another 30%

The rise is attributed to visa-free travel, convenient transportation, and competitive pricing. A night in a four-star hotel in Türkiye averages €100–€220, while similar accommodations in Egypt cost €90–€130.

Tour operators report a 40% increase in sales of Egyptian tour packages from Türkiye by fall 2025.
