US President Donald Trump expressed optimism about rapid normalization between Israel and Saudi Arabia during an interview with Time magazine.
The US leader anticipates this breakthrough occurring before the end of this year.
"I think we're very close. I think Saudi Arabia is going to lead the way",
Donald Trump stated.
The President also revealed additional countries might join the Abraham Accords, potentially including Saudi Arabia, facilitated by reduced regional threats and growing Middle East stability.
The Abraham Accords were originally established during Trump's first term (2020-2021) between Israel and Arab countries including Bahrain, Morocco, and the UAE.
