European sanctions against Russia are too weak, U.S. President Donald Trump said.
He explained that Europe continues to buy oil from Russia.
"I don't want them to buy oil, and the sanctions that they're putting on are not tough enough. I'm willing to do sanctions, but they're going to have to toughen up their sanctions commensurate with what I'm doing," Donald Trump said.
Earlier, the U.S. leader said he was prepared to impose tough sanctions on Russia if all NATO members acted together and stopped purchasing Russian oil.
