Trump expects to talk with Putin in coming days

U.S. President Donald Trump said he expects to have a phone talk with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in the next few days.

he made the statement at Andrews Air Force Base near Washington in response to a question about when he would like to hold a phone call with Putin.

"Very soon, over the next couple of days," Trump said.

The U.S. leader said the situation would be resolved, commenting on efforts to resolve the Ukraine conflict.

On September 4, too, Trump announced plans to speak with Putin in the near future.
