Trump may visit Middle East this week

U.S. President Donald Trump said he may visit the Middle East at the end of the week for the negotiations on resolving the situation in the region.

"I may go there some time towards the end of the week, may be on Sunday," Trump said.

According to him, the trip could take place "may be Sunday, or may be Saturday." The U.S. leader added the talks are going well, there is "a good chance" of concluding a deal.

Trump believes the deal is "very close".

Earlier, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said that talks on bringing an end to the war in Gaza are on the verge of reaching a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel.
