Türkiye intends to send search and rescue teams to Gaza

Türkiye plans to send search and rescue teams to Gaza to accelerate the search for the bodies of deceased hostages, Al-Monitor reports.

According to sources, Türkiye is prepared to deploy 81 rescue specialists trained for complex operations in active conflict zones, who may also conduct unexploded ordnance clearance.

Though personnel are ready for deployment, Ankara has not yet finalized the decision and is coordinating with other peace process participants - Qatar and Egypt.
