The Director of Türkiye's National Intelligence Organization (MIT), Ibrahim Kalın, held a meeting in Istanbul with a delegation from the Palestinian movement Hamas, led by senior official Khalil al-Hayya, the Turkish media reported on January 25.
The parties discussed the ongoing peace process for Gaza, including the implementation of its second phase. The Hamas representatives expressed gratitude for President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's mediating role.
An agreement was reached to continue consultations on various issues related to achieving a settlement in the region.
