UAE not to allow anyone to use its territory for operation against Iran

The UAE leadership will not permit any third party to use the territory of the Emirates for attacks against Iran, according to a statement from the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has reaffirmed the United Arab Emirates’ commitment to not allowing its airspace, territory, or waters to be used in any hostile military actions against Iran, and to not providing any logistical support in this regard",

the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs' statement reads.

The Foreign Ministry emphasized that current regional crises can only be resolved through dialogue, de-escalation, adherence to international law, and respect for state sovereignty.

This statement follows earlier reports in regional media that thousands of US troops are stationed at Al Dhafra Air Base near Abu Dhabi.
