US President Donald Trump's Special Representative, Stephen Witkoff, announced the launch of the 2nd phase of the Gaza peace plan.
The second phase of US President Donald Trump's Gaza peace plan begins today. The relevant announcement was made by US Special Representative Stephen Witkoff in a social media post.
"Today, on behalf of President Trump, we announce the launch of phase two of the President's 20-point plan to end the conflict in the Gaza Strip, moving from a ceasefire to demilitarization, technocratic governance, and reconstruction,”
– Stephen Witkoff informed.
He noted that, according to phase two of the plan, a transitional administration must be established in Gaza, the process of demilitarization and reconstruction of the enclave must begin.
