Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed appreciation for the Turkish side's willingness to undertake concrete steps in bilateral talks, as stated during a recent briefing.
"The time has come for both symbolic and more significant actions",
Nikol Pashinyan said.
This follows recent comments from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who expressed hope that Ankara would take a series of symbolic steps toward normalization with Yerevan in 2026. President Erdoğan noted the mutual desire for peace between Baku and Yerevan. According to him, it is also expected in Ankara. He added that Türkiye is conducting its normalization process with Armenia "in coordination with Azerbaijan".
