Zakharova: Moscow-Baku friendship extremely important

Friendly relations are extremely important for Russia and Azerbaijan, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova told Sputnik Radio.

According to the diplomat, those who want to ruin them should think carefully about what they are doing.

"There are many who just want to 'get their hands on this', let them just not get burned. Because for us, I think, for both nations, friendly relations are really extremely important. And those who want to spoil them should think carefully about what they are doing," Maria Zakharova said.

On June 27, two Azerbaijani nationals died following detention during a law enforcement operation in Russia’s Yekaterinburg on June 27.  The Safarov brothers were buried in Azerbaijan yesterday.
