BRICS receives 30 requests from different countries

The Russian Foreign Ministry, Sergey Lavrov, spoke about the appeals that the BRICS group received from various states.

According to the Foreign Minister, the group has currently received 30 requests from "large, small and medium-sized" countries.

Lavrov emphasized that all the countries that submitted the appeals propose that BRICS establish different forms of cooperation.

Türkiye had already expressed its desire to become part of the BRICS group. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of this republic, Hakan Fidan, spoke about this. Moscow said it welcomed Ankara's interest in BRICS.
