Washington continues to plan a meeting between Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, but will only propose holding it if a deal on Ukraine is reached, Donald Trump announced in Doha.
US President Donald Trump, known for applying business strategies to high-level politics, announced that he is not abandoning idea of a second personal meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, previously scheduled for late October in Hungary.
Trump explained that he will definitely approach the Russian side to arrange a second meeting as soon as Russia and the United States reach agreement on the framework of a settlement agreement for Ukraine. The US president called this agreement a political deal.
