Yerevan invited the leaders of Azerbaijan and Türkiye Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the summit of the European Political Community scheduled to take place in May 2026 in the capital of Armenia. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said.

"We invited Azerbaijan and Türkiye to take part in the summit at the highest level and are currently documenting it",

Ararat Mirzoyan reported.

Earlier, Armenia's Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan, announced support for holding the EPC summit in Azerbaijan in 2028. Baku also supported Armenia as a venue for the 2026 event.

Let us recall that the last EPC summit was held in early October in Copenhagen.
