Georgian Ministry of Health sees no reason to panic over flu

Health Minister Mikheil Sarjveladze addressed the current flu situation, urging people not to panic over the rising incidence.

"With the onset of the flu season, case numbers are increasing naturally. This is not an alarming indicator; the situation is stable. All services ... are on high alert and ready to respond to any challenges",

Sarjveladze stated.

The Minister also emphasized that adherence to hygiene practices and timely vaccination remain the most effective measures for protection against viruses.
