We are prepared for potential US aggression - Iranian UN Envoy

In an interview with TASS, Iran's Permanent Representative to the UN in Geneva, Ali Bahreini, stated that Tehran is ready for any development in its relations with the USA, including potential aggression.

At the same time, the diplomat noted that the Iranian government currently has no information regarding any immediate, serious threats against the country.

"Of course, the United States is unpredictable (…) we are prepared for any scenario, including any aggression",

Ali Bahreini said.

Furthermore, the Permanent Representative accused the USA of aggression and arrogance, asserting that Washington's actions are dangerous for the entire world as they fundamentally contradict the norms of the UN Charter.

"And it (the US government – ​​the editor's note) is prepared to commit any violations to pursue its interests",
