The actual implementation and construction phase of the 'Trump Route' project will begin in 2026, the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported.

According to the ministry, Armenia is conducting intensive negotiations with its U.S. partners on the legal framework and regulations of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project, Sputnik Armenia reported.

The TRIPP Company, an Armenian-American joint venture, will be registered in Armenia and will receive the right to develop the necessary infrastructure for railway, road, oil and natural gas pipelines, as well as fiber optic cables.

Armenia considers the implementation of the 'Trump Route' project to be an integral part of the Armenian government's 'Crossroads of Peace' initiative, which is fully compatible with major infrastructure projects, including the Middle Corridor and the Persian Gulf-Black Sea, aimed at developing regional connectivity, the ministry added.
