Azerbaijan exported nearly 171 million dollars worth of hazelnuts

According to the State Customs Committee, Azerbaijan exported almost 19,000 tons of hazelnuts last year, showing a 6% decrease in volume from 2024.

The value of exports, however, rose by more than 32%, amounting to approximately $171 million. Hazelnuts accounted for 0.68% of the country's total exports during the year.

At the end of January, it was reported that Azerbaijan had exported $3 million worth of hazelnuts to Syria. Last year, Azerbaijani farmers also began exporting nuts to China.
