Approximately $8 billion will be allocated on the restoration of Azerbaijan's liberated territories, according to a report from the Azerbaijani Ministry of Finance.

Between 2026 and 2029, $8 billion are expected to be spent on the restoration of territories liberated from occupation, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Finance reported.

This announcement follows a report from Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the Shusha district Aydin Karimov on the imminent commissioning of the Ahmadbayli-Fuzuli-Shusha road.

The official also noted that by 2027, 3,000 people are expected to return to Shusha. New apartments and houses are being constructed for internally displaced persons. Reports indicate that 45 residential buildings will be built in Azerbaijan's cultural capital.
