Population in Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur reaches 73,000

More than 26,000 people returned to Azerbaijan's liberated territories of Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur under the state "Great Return" program as of January 2026.

Currently, over 73,500 people have returned to the liberated territories, according to official statistics.

These figures follow a previous report from the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, which stated that over 25,000 people had returned by the end of December 2025.
