The U.S. delegation is expected to visit Armenia next week to discuss the TRIPP (Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity) project, local media reported.

The report says that the U.S. officials will not only examine the technical aspects of the corridor but also its political implications.

Discussions will reportedly cover the scale of potential investments, key priorities, and the timeline for launching construction works.

The 'Trump route' project was documented during the visit of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to Washington. On August 8, a Joint Declaration was signed, one of the points of which was the participation of the U.S. in the development of the route that will connect Azerbaijan with Nakhchivan (Zangezur Corridor).
