Yemeni government forces have driven the Houthis out of the Dhubab area, which opens the way to the Bab el‑Mandeb Strait, Al Arabiya reported.
The offensive involved the Giants' Brigades and the Shield of the Homeland, with troops outflanking the Houthis via the Kahboub mountain range and air support used during the operation.
The Houthis lost a strategically important position, disrupting their supply lines. Hostilities between government forces and the Houthis intensified in September.
