Small earthquakes continue to rock south of Türkiye

This morning, a small but noticeable earthquake of magnitude 4.4 hit southern Türkiye again, the epicentre of which was located 25 km southwest of the city of Antakya with a population of 210,000 people, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre said.

The tremors of the earthquake, the hypocentre of which lay at a depth of 2 km, were felt not only by the inhabitants of Türkiye, but also by neighboring Syria. There is no information about the victims and destruction, TASS reports.

Let us remind you that after the earthquakes on February 6, multiple aftershocks continue to be recorded in Türkiye, but the vast majority of them are extremely weak.
