The International Fencing Federation (FIE) has ruled to allow athletes representing Russia and Belarus to participate in FIE-authorized international tournaments, the InsideTheGames sports web portal reported.
A decision to clear Russian and Belarusian athletes for taking part in international fencing sport competitions was made at the FIE Extraordinary Congress, which was held in an online format.
It was confirmed by President of the Russian Fencing Federation (FFR) Ilgar Mamedov.
