The authorities of the Republic of Dagestan plan to receive funds from the state budget for the implementation of programs in the agricultural sector. In particular, the government plans to spend 1.7 billion rubles on land reclamation projects. This was stated by the regional Ministry of Agriculture.
It is noted that the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Dagestan has developed 117 programs in the field of land irrigation and the preparation of new territories for agricultural needs.
In 2022, the region implemented land reclamation programs worth 840 million rubles. This helped to improve the quality of 7 thousand hectares of agricultural land.
In total, over the past 3 years, Dagestan has spent 2 billion rubles on land reclamation work. Thanks to this, the region was able to return 25 thousand hectares of land for the agricultural activities
