Archaeological parks may appear in Karabakh

There are plans to create archaeological parks on the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Information about this was announced by the head of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of ANAS Farhad Guliyev.

According to the head of the institute, the authorities are considering the territory of the Karabakh economic region for the creation of such facilities. Guliyev said that the region's area is the highest priority for the implementation of archaeological parks.

It is clarified that the tourism agency and the Ministry of Culture have been asked to carry out the relevant work.

"We proposed this project to the State Tourism Agency. We also work closely with the Ministry of Culture. The archaeological parks project is an interesting platform for promoting the monuments of Azerbaijan. We want archaeological parks to be mainly located in the regions",

Farhad Guliyev said.
