According to the Rossiya-1 TV channel, Sberbank Chairman Herman Gref predicts no significant changes in the ruble's exchange rate against the dollar this year.
"We do not predict any significant jumps in the ruble until the end of the year. Our forecast was that the ruble would be in the range of 90-95 [per dollar] in the second half of this year",
Gref said.
He also said that the level of the key rate in Russia could go down if inflation decreases. Let us remind you that the rate has remained unchanged in recent months and remains at 16%. The next meeting on the key rate will be held on June 7.
